By using the website and services of Dough with a Bow ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms take effect on October 17, 2026.
You must be 18 or older to create an account or place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account, including keeping your mobile number and sign-in codes secure.
Dough with a Bow is a home-based micro bakery that sells artisan bread and baked goods. We offer:
All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance. An order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation. We may limit quantities, refuse or cancel an order, and change our products and availability. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Payment is due when you place an order. We accept major credit cards through our payment processor, Stripe. All prices are in US dollars, and any tax or delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay.
We may change prices. The price shown when you place an order is the price you pay for that order. A price change for an active subscription takes effect only after we give you at least 14 days' notice by email or text.
Subscriptions are billed every two weeks in advance, with deliveries every other Sunday. When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your card each billing cycle, and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Changes: to change, skip, or pause an upcoming delivery, tell us by Thursday at 6:00 PM Central Time before that Sunday.
Canceling: you may pause, skip, or cancel at any time with one week's notice. You can cancel in your account on doughbow.com or by emailing Doughwithabow1@gmail.com. Canceling stops future charges.
Refunds: we do not refund partial billing periods. Deliveries you have already paid for will still be delivered unless you cancel them in time.
Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may pause deliveries until it is resolved.
Orders for our bi-weekly drops must be placed by Thursday at 6:00 PM Central Time. We bake on Saturday and deliver on Sunday. Delivery is limited to our service area, which is shown when you order.
Please give us an accurate address and be reachable on delivery day. Baked goods are perishable, so please bring them in promptly. We are not responsible for spoilage after delivery to the address you gave us. If we cannot deliver because of an incorrect address or an access problem, contact us right away and we will try to arrange another delivery, though we may not be able to refund the order.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, illness, or equipment failure.
We reserve the right to postpone a scheduled bake to the following bake cycle due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will notify affected customers as soon as possible and either deliver in the following bake cycle or provide a full refund upon request.
Our products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to public health inspection. That kitchen also handles common food allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and sesame, so cross-contact cannot be ruled out.
We list ingredients and allergens for our products and work to keep that information accurate, but recipes and ingredients can change. If you or anyone you are feeding has a food allergy or dietary restriction, contact us before you order so we can tell you what is in the product. Do not rely on website descriptions alone.
If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, email Doughwithabow1@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery with your order details and a photo. We will replace the item, give you a credit, or refund you, depending on the problem. Because baked goods are perishable, we cannot accept returns. Refunds go to the original payment method.
By checking the consent box and giving us your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Dough with a Bow about your orders and account. These include order confirmations, delivery notifications, subscription reminders, and account verification codes. If you separately agree, we also send promotional texts: a notice when our order window opens and a reminder before it closes. Agreeing to those texts is optional and is not required to buy anything.
Frequency and cost: message frequency varies, depending on your orders and subscription. If you opt in to order-window texts, expect up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation text and no more messages. Reply START to rejoin.
Help: reply HELP or email Doughwithabow1@gmail.com.
Account access: if you use your mobile number to sign in, replying STOP also stops login-code texts. Contact us and we will help you reach your account another way.
Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: we do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Agreeing to texts is separate from accepting these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dough with a Bow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim about an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived, including rights related to injury from unsafe food.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois.
Dough with a Bow is a home bakery. Our products are made in a home kitchen not subject to public health inspection that may also process common food allergens. License/registration no. 214, issued by Lake County.
We may change these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. For subscribers, we will notify you by email or text at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep using our services after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are our entire agreement with you.
